Florida is home to golf courses, retirement communities, and vacation communities. You may only use your golf cart right on the golf course, but many of our golf cart customers use their golf carts or low speed vehicles to travel around their neighborhood, go to the beach, or go to a local store.

What is the difference between a golf cart and a low speed vehicle? Florida stautes define what they are:
Florida Statute 320.01 (22) “Golf cart” means a motor vehicle that is designed and manufactured for operation on a golf course for sporting or recreational purposes and that is not capable of exceeding speeds of 20 miles per hour.
Florida Statute 320.01 (42) “Low-speed vehicle” means any four-wheeled electric vehicle whose top speed is greater than 20 miles per hour but not greater than 25 miles per hour, including neighborhood electric vehicles. Low-speed vehicles must comply with the safety standards in 49 C.F.R. s. 571.500 and s. 316.2122.
